How do I reserve my date?

A signed contract and deposit reserve your date. Our a la carte package requires a 50% deposit and our bundle package requires a 25% deposit. We accept cash, check or credit cards.

How many guests can you accommodate at your property?

Our max guest capacity is 175 guests.

Do you host multiple events in one day?

No, we only have one event per day .

How long is the venue rental?

Weekday & Sunday venue rentals include exclusive access to the entire property from 10am to 10pm, with music ending at 9pm. Friday & Saturday venue rentals include exclusive access to the entire property from 10am to 11pm, with music ending at 10pm.

When is Ritchie Hill open?

All meetings and tours must be scheduled in advance as our office hours are by appointment only. During peak event season, Ritchie Hill is closed on Mondays.

When & How do I schedule a tour?

We host tours on weekdays and weekends around our event schedule. Please email Shannon at info@ritchiehill.com to set up a private tour.

Is there on site parking for my guests?

Yes, we have gravel parking areas behind the main house including 2 paved handicap spots with close access to our wheelchair lift plus street side parking. Please note, events with 150 guests or more may need to utilize street side parking.

Do you allow pets on the property?

Yes, we ask that all pets are leashed for the entire event and that you properly clean up after your pet.

Do I need a day of coordinator / planner?

Yes, we require all wedding clients to have at least a day of coordinator. Their main role is to execute your event from start to finish and to be the single point of contact for your vendors, guests, etc.

Do you allow photo sessions on your property?

For clients hosting an event at Ritchie Hill, we include a two hour photo shoot. For clients not hosting an event at Ritchie Hill, we offer $150 hourly rate will full access to the entire property.

Do you allow live bands?

Due to our noise ordinance, we do not allow live bands at Ritchie Hill. We do allow non amplified musicians for the ceremony and cocktail hour.

Can we provide our own catering?

No, we require all clients to hire a licensed and insured caterer to execute their food needs including removing all trash (we do not have a dumpster on site).

Do you allow alcohol on the property?

Yes, we allow beer, wine and liquor. We do allow BYOB bar but all must be served through a licensed and insured professional. An ABC permit is not required by Ritchie Hill but may be required by your bartending service or caterer.

What is the back-up plan for rain or inclement weather if using outdoor space?

Events with 100 guests or less can host their entire event - including ceremony, cocktail hour and reception - on the grand porch and inside the house. Events with 100+ guests can utilize the portico for a ceremony location and we have several other options depending on the floorplan.

Do you offer overnight accommodations for guests?

No, we do not have onsite accommodations for guests but we are happy to recommend local hotels and airbnbs.

How do I schedule my ceremony rehearsal?

We start to schedule ceremony rehearsals about 60 days out from your event when we have a clear understanding of availability.
